Not my favorite part of the day. I'd be fine if they rolled around, say, 2 pm.
In the early morning, though, t's hard to leave the cozy warmth of my bed and get up and moving. But for some reason, the rest of the day hinges on doing just that.
I can more easily think of my dreams and goals when tucked sleepily under the covers. It's harder to do once my feet hit the cold wood floors.
That space between "lemme back in bed!" and fully put together, ready for the day, is treacherous territory.
It's then that I needs me a lil' inspiration.
There are all kinds of tips, tricks and techniques to get your mind in the right place to get yourself motivated. But really, how realistic is that when it's a big struggle simply to brutally turn on the lights and face the mirror, first thing in the day?
Dreams need wait at least until the eyes adjust to the harshness of bright lights.
Once they do, well, get outta the way.
Big dreams comin' through.
